General Questions
IS THIS A FAMILY EVENT
This is strictly a 21 and over event – so leave the little ones at home. Everyone entering the fest must present a valid government issued ID.
CAN I BRING MY DOG
We love dogs but unfortunately no dogs are allowed into the fest. Plus, dogs shouldn’t drink beer.
CAN I BRING MY OWN BEER
No outside food or drinks are allowed inside the festival – this includes bottled water. Once inside the fest, water will be provided for drinking and rinsing your glass. The only exception is pretzel necklaces.
CAN I BRING MY OWN CHAIR
There will be plenty of seating available inside the ballpark but if you are particularly attached to your chair you can bring it into the fest.
WILL THERE BE FOOD AVAILABLE
Yes, food will be available for purchase inside the fest.
WHAT IF IT RAINS
Ballpark Ale Fest is a rain or shine event. However, in the event of inclement weather due to high winds and/or lightning, the fest may be temporarily postponed until the storm has passed and the facility has been deemed safe to enter. Therefore, the start time is subject to change based on weather conditions. Join our Facebook or Twitter feeds for continuous updates.
WHY ARE THERE DRINK TICKETS
This is a regulatory measure to keep in compliance with Illinois liquor laws. Ballpark Ale Fest ticket holders will receive 18 drink tickets. Each drink ticket can be exchanged for a 3oz sample. Additional drink tickets are available for $0.50 per ticket. Additional samples are limited to 10 tickets for a total of 30 oz.
I CAN NO LONGER ATTEND - CAN I RECEIVE A REFUND
All ticket sales are final – no refunds or exchanges.
WILL TICKETS BE AVAILABLE AT THE GATE
Tickets will be available for purchase at the gate, but we recommend you buy tickets early to avoid waiting in line.
